At Dihan, a luxury treehouse hotel tucked into the southern Brittany countryside, this is simply how mornings begin. Our spa cabins are perched five metres high in the canopy, each one built for those who want to slow down properly – with real comfort overhead and nothing but birdsong and rustling leaves to fill the hours.

What makes a luxury treehouse at Dihan?
At Dihan, luxury has nothing to do with marble lobbies or uniformed concierges. It lives in the silence of a car-free estate spanning 25 hectares of woodland and meadows, in a private jacuzzi warming under the stars, and in the unhurried rhythm of days with no agenda to follow.
Each of our four spa treehouses sits five metres above the ground, reached by a spiral staircase that winds up through the canopy. Inside, you will find a fully equipped bathroom, comfortable bedding, soft towels and bathrobes, and heating that keeps the cabin cosy even on cooler Breton evenings. Outside, a covered terrace with hammock chairs, a lounge area and your own timber jacuzzi overlooking the treetops. You soak in warm water while the leaves rustle around you and the sky opens up above, and it becomes very clear why people come back year after year.
Dihan was born nearly twenty years ago, when Myriam and Arno – a couple passionate about travel, nature, and their corner of Brittany – transformed a family farm in Ploemel into one of France’s first treehouse hotels. That care still shows, from the constructions designed around century-old trees to the permaculture garden and the LPO bird sanctuary that the estate has become. “Dihan” means “the pause” in Breton, and you feel it the moment you step onto the estate.

Choosing your luxury spa treehouse
Dihan has four spa treehouses, and each has a distinct personality:- Ehan and Dremmwel are reserved exclusively for couples, offering complete intimacy. Dremmwel is also Dihan’s first accessible cabin, with ramp access for guests with reduced mobility and a panoramic view over the estate’s pond.
- En Ty and Neizh welcome couples, families or friends (up to 2 adults and 2 children), with a kitchenette for longer stays.
